My name is Joanne Hernandez! A proud Puerto Rican woman born in the Bronx and raised in Harlem! I am the oldest of 4 children, and have worked with children for many years, especially my younger siblings and know exactly what it is like to care for all age groups.

I have done babysitting, and worked in schools as an assistant teacher for over the course of 3 years. I am professionally involved in the music and theatre world, but found true enjoyment and a love for teaching. I’m currently working towards my bachelors degree in early childhood education! I am passionate about helping the younger generation create their path for the future and making sure this world becomes a better place for the future children of our world. I hope to become the teacher that children will look back on in their lives and tell people I made a difference in who they become.
